We provide safe places for your children to be taught and loved, and a dynamic youth ministry for 6th-12th graders.
Our nursery is available for babies, from newborns up to 24 months, during our Sunday service.
Children's Church classes are available for two-year-olds through kindergarteners. Children's Church brings kids together to learn about God and impart a God-centered worldview. Our hope is to display God as the hero of every story and introduce children to the Gospel. Our class for first through fifth graders will return this fall.
Junior and senior high students (sixth through twelfth grade) are invited to join DoX, EBF's youth group. Students will gain an opportunity to encourage one another to become more like Jesus through community, as well as learn more from volunteers and group leaders. DoX meets on Sunday nights at rotating locations.Contact Us
We also partner with Winnetka Bible Church to offer Awana. Awana is a national organization that helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus.Contact Us
At Evanston Bible Fellowship, we want to empower one another to cultivate Gospel transformation, and that's our goal for our children and youth ministries as well: we want to encourage children and youth to grow in their understanding of the Gospel and to do so in a community with other believers, friends, and volunteers.
We provide a safe and engaging environment for our children and youth. All of our staff and volunteers have passed through an application process and have been trained to care for your children and ensure their safety.
Job is originally from Rochester, Minnesota, and studied at Moody Bible Institute. After college Job and his wife, Bethany, joined the staff of Reign Ministries. They have been a part of EBF for nine years. Job began serving as the EBF director for you ministires in the fall of 2014. Job and Bethany have a daughter and a son.
Job's passion is to see teenagers transformed by the Gospel and mobilized to reach others for Christ now, while they are still teenagers. Job's work both with Reign Ministries and with our church's youth has given him the unique experience to know how to engage teens and prepare them for a life of following Christ after high school.
Rachel grew up in Skokie and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has served in children's ministry for many years, worked at local schools, and received her Master in Education at National-Louis University. She now works as a teacher at Christian Heritage Academy. She started attending EBF in 2013 and has since served in DoX and the hospitality team. In September 2015, Rachel began as the director of children's ministries. Rachel and her husband, Aji, have been married since June 2015.
Rachel's vision for the EBF Children's Ministries is to ensure seeds of the Gospel are planted week after week, so that those seeds will grow the kids of EBF to become lifetime followers of Christ. In addition to teaching children at a private school during the week, Rachel has served in children's ministries before coming to EBF.
